Do promotional gift cards expire?
Yes. Promotional gift cards and reward certificates are complimentary and expire 12 months from the date of issue. Expiration dates are always printed on the card or included in your email confirmation.
Are they the same as purchased gift cards?
No. Purchased Big Island Coffee Roasters gift cards never expire, per Hawaiʻi law. Promotional cards are free rewards, not purchased, and may carry expiration dates.
Can I exchange a promotional gift card for cash?
No. Promotional cards have no cash value and cannot be reloaded, transferred, or resold.
