We're thrilled to open our flagship tasting room, cafe, and roastery in Hilo this summer, July 2023! This will be the only cafe of its kind in Hilo, in addition to our first public location since establishing Big Island Coffee Roasters in 2010.
The 4000 sqft location will feature a specialty espresso bar, nitro taps, and a window where visitors can view the coffee roasting and production process. Folks will have the opportunity to book "tasting tours" with varieties of 100% Hawai’i and Kona coffees, in addition to enjoying locally grown products like Māmaki Tea on tap and specialty lattes. Locally, the space will hold community events.
The flagship location borders Queen Liliʻuokalani Park and Gardens, which is a popular location for picnics, swimming, dog walking, and public events. Liliʻuokalani Park is also the location of Hilo’s top hotels and resorts, including the Grand Naniloa Hilton and the SPC Hotel, and approximately one mile from the Port of Hilo and the Keaukaha Beach Parks.
